Dickey’s Ale

Dickey’s Ale Batch 2 – 30 Aug 09 Brew Date:

This batch was a modificaiton of a beer I brewed back in August of 2008. The original batch contained 0.5 lbs of Roasted Barley, which gave the beer too much of a burned stout flavor. This Porter turned out very good. My original tasting notes are here: http://flowbrewing.com/?p=981.

  • Desired Final Gravity was 1.055 which equals 55 Gravity Units
  • Planning to make 5 gallons
  • Total Gravity Units = 275 = 55*5
